Stampee and Stencils: A Love Affair

Here's an example of a great way to combine stenciling and foils:

24K, Copper Penny and Garnet Stampee Foils

Here's how we did it:
  1. Choose a stencil.  This one is from Dreamweaver Stencils.
  2. Emboss the card with your stencil as usual.  See instructions here.
  3. After embossing, turn the card over and attach the stencil to the front of the card like a mask.
  4. Use a dabber to apply VersaMark ink (or any other kind of pigment ink) to the design.
  5. Apply Stampee's Stuck on You! bonding powder and tap off excess.
  6. Heat set the powder with your heat tool.
  7. Lay a piece of Stampee Foil over your design (shiny side up!), cover with a piece of copy paper, and run the whole thing through a pouch laminator.
  8. Remove copy paper and peel off foil.
  9. Voila! You've got a beautiful foil embossed card.
